At best anyones blog is their own opinion and should be taken as that, someone’s opinion.

Each of us form opinions from what we expose ourselves to.

The more diversity in your experiences the broader your opinions will be.

But how I digress in my 1st paragraph from what I wish to discuss.

The biggest deterrent to creativity is fear and procrastination.
Fear:
Is what I have to say important?
Is my level of proficiency “good enough”?
Am I capable of sharing me privateness?
Does anyone care about my privateness?
Will I be rejected because of my work?
The list can go on for ever and ever.
Feel free to add an much to this list as you wish.

Procrastination:
How can I start?
Maybe I will wait till tomorrow.
Oh I have to get all my materials out.
Maybe I will start after lunch.
OK…procrastination is really not even a tiny part of my personality.

So how do I create.
I go in the studio EVERY day!
Maybe I have an idea.
Maybe I don’t…
Ok then maybe I will reorganize XYZ
But then I will see something that opens a door to a creative thought.
It is a practice …And without spending time with my practice nothing will happen.
