TRUST-Webster
1a: assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something
1b: one in which confidence is placed
Trust is a concept that carries such different weights and values for each individual and situation that word becomes almost meaningless.
One end of the spectrum the word may mean a person will show up for a meeting on time; yet on the other end of the spectrum the word may mean someone would put their life on the line for you.
A rather BIG gab in the expectation of a single word!!!
Yet with such diversity in the context of a single word one thing seems to be consistently true.Once the mutual expectation of the word has been violated the shared understanding of the concept is never fully restored.
