PAPER DRESS INSTALLATION
The dress installation series a collaborative work of art, involving three persons.
The person creating the hand made paper is the first artisan in the collaboration.
I am the second artist in the collaboration of the paper vessel. I am creating an intimate vessel that can envelope a body. The dress is adorned with a painted collage of a figure that wraps around the body. Each dress is hand cut and collaged before assembly.
The person that steps into the paper dress vessel is the third and final collaborator in the work.
By stepping into the installation the third person creates a trinity of collaboration.
