Concept:

This is a participatory multi medium project regarding female identity.
I asked woman to write anonymous letters sharing their personal stories about coming to terms with the bodies they are born with against the backdrop of society’s ideal of perfect.

 

Project:

This project consists of my video story,  letters from woman, and a performance where 2 models were dressed as identical “Barbies” one heavy set and one thin. As they mingled throughout a crowd they handed out cards asking it the viewer thought they were pretty.
